Teckna Drilling operate suitably trained personnel to connect the geothermal boreholes drilled by ourselves or others back to the clients property.
Pipe work can be single installations from one borehole to multiple connections requiring manifold systems with as many as 24 connections. Manifolds can be installed to have surface access or buried with traffic rated access chambers for later balancing or maintenance works to the system.
As with all of our projects we only use certified products with a full auditing trail as the connection pipe work once buried is as important as the loop to provide system integrity. All connection joints are electro fusion fittings only to provide fully welded pipe work, quality certification of each joint and final pressure test.
All installation teams for pipe work are fully trained and certified for using electro fusion and ancillary equipment, with retesting of all personnel using electro fusion equipment taking place every 5 years maximum.
On completion of the borehole connections all pipe work is pressure and flow tested on completion. The final installation if required can have anti bacterial products installed to clean out the complete system before installing the final heat transfer additives.
