As well as drilling on the landfill we also operate around the perimeters to drill into the surrounding natural ground strata to install monitoring wells.
Well diameters from 75mm upwards are drilled utilising methods available to suit the natural ground strata being drilled. Typical methods available are air, air-mist, water flush all combined with different drilling techniques of rock rollers, drag bits, simultaneous casing and air hammer utilising environmentally friendly bio-degradable oils.
Wells can be finished with any head details required and specified with lockable steel lids or can be inside lockable chambers. Venting stand pipes and cowls can also be utilised with sampling points and carbon filters if needed.
