Teckna Groups drilling division working with Conwy Council install a solar powered water abstraction system to ther first new allotment development in 100 years.
The borehole was drilled with air flush methods to 60m and lined with pvc casing as a normal borehole. Teckna Group then constructed a timber frame from sustainable grown timber to install the photovoltaic panels and hold a bespoke manufactured steel grill to protect the PV panels from vandalism. As an extension to the project Teckna Group where asked to install a buffer tank holding 1000 litres connected back to the pump system via float switches to run automatically and supply 3no standpipes as part of the tank system. During periods of maintenance an auto switch was installed to enable a standby generator to power the system.

A water well was installed for the Mayor of King's Lynn at the construction of her new Allouette Eco home, which is being imported from Quebec Canada. When the the construction phase is complete an Ultra Violet filtration and particle system will be installed and the borehole will then be used as a sustainable water supply to the property.
